Privacy Policy

Vanguard 360 Inc., doing business as Verifeye, provides tools for Shopify merchants to collect, moderate, and display product reviews and customer media. This policy explains what we process, why we process it, and the choices available to merchants and individuals.

Information we process

• Shop identity, installation sessions, and authorized Shopify data.
• Product identifiers, titles, handles, and images used to associate reviews.
• Review text, ratings, reviewer names, and optional photos or video.
• Email addresses or phone numbers used for merchant-requested review invitations.
• Customer and order identifiers used for purchase verification when the merchant has enabled that feature and Shopify has approved the required access.
• Operational data such as timestamps, delivery status, security events, and privacy-request receipts.

How we use information

We use information to provide the requested review service, deliver invitations, moderate and display approved content, support purchase verification, prevent abuse, maintain security, provide support, and meet Shopify or legal obligations. The Shopify merchant remains responsible for its customer notices and lawful use of review data.

Sharing and service providers

We share information only with service providers needed to operate the service, including Shopify, our hosting and database providers, email and messaging providers, and media-storage providers. We do not sell customer information. Shopify manages app subscription billing; Verifeye does not store payment-card details.

Retention and deletion

We retain information while the merchant uses Verifeye or for the merchant-configured retention period. Privacy exports expire automatically. Uninstall and Shopify privacy webhooks trigger the applicable tenant, customer, or shop deletion workflows, subject to legally required retention.

Security

We use Shopify authentication, tenant-scoped access controls, hashed single-use review tokens, signed webhooks, direct media uploads, and retry-safe processing. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy requests

Customers should normally contact the Shopify merchant that collected their review. Merchants and authorized individuals may contact us for access, correction, deletion, portability, or other privacy requests.
